Abstract

Ottoman Empire, one of the longest ruling empires of the history, has affected its area and the whole world during the timeline of its foundation in 13th century to its ending in 20th century. Ottoman Empire was always a target for the West due to its mission and continued relationships with the West from its foundation to ending. Developing Europe has invaded new countries and never gave up the habit of seeing Ottoman Empire as a rival. Ottoman Empire, on the other hand, was far from seeing the early developments in the West. Lately, although, serious developments were taken and tried to close the gap between, the awared hostile powers in the West did not give such an opportunity.
