Our main problem is whether there is any difference in narcissism level in relation to the religiousness tendency. In this context, the randomly chosen subjects from students of several faculties in Gümüşhane University such as Health High School, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Divinity and Faculty of Engineering have been conducted a survey; the sample group’ religiousness tendency and their narcissism levels have been determined and then relationship between their narcissism levels and religiousness tendency have been established. In the examination, Frequency, T Test and One Way Anova tests have been used and SPSS 16.0 statistics package has been used for surveying the original data and finding out the calculated values. According to survey the conclusions, as regards narcissism levels while a differentiation has been determined in independent variables regarding subjective religiousness perception, worship status and level of subjective religious knowledge, a differentiation has not been observed regarding taking into consideration moral behavior in life of participants. The study consists of two main parts. In the first section, to provide a theoretical approach in relation to narcissism and religiousness; the concept of narcissism, trace of the concept, sutudies related to narcissism, development of narcissism, narcissistic personality disorder, relation to narcissism and culture of concumption, and finally relation to narcissism and religiousness themes have been mentioned. In the two section that supposed application have been give placed to problem and subproblems of the study, hypothesis, population and sample, limitedness, datas about scale of in used the study, analysis of research findings, negotiation, research results and recommendations.},author={Saffet KARTOPU},year={2013},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science Studies}}
