Abstract

There were lots of radical changes in education as well as the other fields in republican era when the was founded new turkish republic with the help of revolution. ın 1924 the union is provided in education and teaching with tevhidi tedrisat law and in 1928 the alphabet changed to Latin with letter revolution and then lots of revolution which is like reform was brought to the education institutions with opening the national schools. In the republican era when a nation was born again, the conductor of states who were aware of the reality that the development can be achieved by good education basics, tried to be that real by making reforms. Village institutions which were founded in 1940 to improve people’s culture and education are the best examples of that. Writers examine foreign language education in particular emphasized the rote learning that leads young people to value, thus cooling them science, understanding, expression and undermine the development of creativity, preventing the acquisition of a solid professional studies, foreign language learning, but also contained a cursory level is very clearly wrong method exhibit. Türk yurdu educational magazine, which was belong to Turkish association and was the witness of republican era and before, placed scientific Works in education as well as making, publishes economical, political and social fields. At this work it is going to be assessed that Türk yurdu educational magazine which is the most important formation of Turkish nationalism with examining educational essays which was published in 1968 and 1990 in republican era and making englightement to this era’s education system in respect of nationalism.
