At schools, education is given on values but the most important value to be emphasized should be the mother tongue awareness value. In all societies, raising the awareness of mother tongue is considered to be an important issue. Hence, the perception of the poets of Turkish World on the issue is of great importance. Turkish World is a big world including all Turks and the language used in this world is the mother tongue. The emphasis and sensitivity given to the mother tongue in the poems of the poets is of great importance. How they perceive the mother tongue and how they reflect their perceptions in their poems will reveal their opinions and sensitivities on the mother tongue of the Turkish World. Poet conceptualized in association with the spirit world and the words, assets ownership also brings.
