He made lots of reforms and education is one of the most significant of these reforms. Starting with 1923 until the death of Ataturk in 1938, the changes which might be done in years, have done in one night. In fifteen years of republic, there have been a lot of education reforms sucs as “Monotheistic Education Act”, congresses of teachers, letters revolution, nation schools, society schools, university reform, planning of school curriculums, visiting of foreign intellectuals. In this study, we will look at period of Atatürk’ education system and will discuss education reforms which held in that period.
