Firstly, the guestion of Kemalism is ideology or not? will answered by this study. Secondly, the first usage of Kemalism will analyzed and thirdly, the guestion of what is being done for Kemalism will answered. 1930-1945 eas the period of the spread of ideologies. In this context, the rise of Kemalism will also analyzed in this period. The axis of this study is to analyze the effect of the tools that are used by Kemalism over the society. While this is analyzing, political, social and cultural situation in that period will be taken into consideration. Although Kemalism is the problematic notion in social sciences, the effect of Kemalism over the social structure will analyzed. Also, this study adopts the interdisciplinary approach for providing integrity. Cultural factors that are used by both other ideologies and Kemalism, like education, music and art will also analyzed. This situation is the other important side of this study. Also, the efforts for consolidating Kemalism in politic culture will analyzed in historical period. Especially the establishment of Atatürk’s corner in educational area, the formalization of Atatürk’s death anniversary, forming novels, poetry and theater plays on behalf of his name were the important points. In this context, making statue for Atatürk, giving his name to the streets, roads and boulevards are the very crucial examples regarding to the embodiment of Kemalism.},author={Ahmet İLYAS},year={2016},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science Studies}}
