The sport not only offers to athletes opportunities such as seeing new cities and recognizing new cultures but also effects these cities in terms of economy. As a result of the organizations, they have financial and also social benefits such as the publicity of the city. Purpose of the study is to evaluate impacts of sports organizations on introducing cultural heritages in the city. In this context, our aim is to investigate teams’ visit to the cultural heritage in Turkey and Konya for TBF International U16 Star Men Tournament, and to offer suggestions to have more visit to the cultural heritage during rest days. Literature survey has been done. Communication has been made with the Turkish Basketball Federation and its teams, and information about the cities has been obtained. A questionnaire has been applied to athletes in groups. Firstly, why the cities want to host international organizations will be explained, then a general information about Konya will be given. Finally an evaluation will be made on the activities of the teams coming to Konya for the TBF International U16 Star Men Tournament held in 2017, and suggestions will be made to athletes to have more visit to the cultural heritage.},author={Hicran Hanım HALAÇ-- Fikret BADEMCİ - Mehmet Ali ÇELİKSOY},year={2017},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science Studies}}
