Abstract

The reason why most of the application projects are unsuccesful results from not doing Project area examination, measuring and assessing effectively. Therefore, the methods examination, measuring and assessing which will be realized in the Project area should be applied. In order that development studies based on a project can be successful. Development studies, when studied around the world; It is determined that the developed countries allocate their resources primarily to local development projects and later to large scale national development projects. When the development studies of many countries that have provided development in the world are analyzed; It can be reached that the local development studies should be prioritized in order to ensure the development of Turkey. One of the most effective methods that should be used is to apply the techniques of examination, measuring and assessing based on a certain model. In this study, the Focused Local Development (OYKA) Model, in which beneficial model copyright rights were obtained and we utilized Focused Local Development to the sources, opportunities and historical artifacts of the specified area. For example, open areas, caves, industrial fAacilities, agriculturel enterprises, dangerous chemical plants and historical places can be examined, measured and assessed. Within the scope of examination and measurement studies realized in the Project area, from clothing of the Project team to the first aid practices, from the use of measuring instruments to the making of laboratory analyzes to determine the physical and chemical properties of the sample, all these studies constitute the subject of this study.
