Abstract

Hansa Birliği, dünyanın örgütlü ilk ticaret birliğidir. 12. yüzyılın sonlarına doğru kurulan, 13. yüzyılın ilk yarısındaki belgelerde de ismen anılmaya başlayan ve giderek genişleyen bu ticaret birliği, 16. yüzyılın ortalarına kadar önemli bir ticari ve ekonomik güç olarak, Avrupa ve dolayısıyla Dünya ticaretindeki belirleyici aktörlerden biri olmuştur. Bir zamanlar “Dünya ticareti” demek olan Avrupa ticaretinin merkezi konumundaki Almanya’nın, aradan 900 yıl geçtikten sonra 21. yüzyılda da benzer konumunu muhafaza ettiği görülmektedir. Hansa’nın sonunu hazırlayan ve kuruluşundan itibaren yaklaşık 150 yılda gerçekleşen kontrolsüz genişleme süreci, modern çağdaki Avrupa Birliği örneğinde, 6 üyeden 28 üyeye ulaşılması ile yaklaşık 50 yılda oluşmuştur. Çin ve Uzakdoğu Ülkelerinin güçlenmeleri, ticaret yollarını da tekrar doğuya kaydırmaktadır. Yunanistan krizi ve ardından İngiltere’nin Avrupa Birliği’nden çıkma kararı, Avrupa Birliği’nin temellerini derinden sarsmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, tarihte yer alan ve etkileri günümüze değin süren bu olgunun ne olduğunu anlamak ve günümüz için gerekli dersleri çıkarmaktır. Çalışmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Hansa Birliği’nin ne olduğu anlatılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde Hansa Birliği’nin oluşumu ve başlangıcı anlatılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde Hansa Birliği’nin gelişimi anlatılmakta, beşinci bölümde Hansa Günü açıklanmaktadır. Altıncı bölümde Hansa Birliği’nin dağılması anlatılmaktadır. Yedinci bölümde Alman Hansa şehirleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sekizinci bölümde Hansa Birliği’nin globalleşmeye katkısı anlatılmış, dokuzuncu bölümde Avrupa Birliği’ndeki son gelişmeler ışığında Hansa Birliği’nin sonu ile benzeşen yönler irdelenmiş, sonuç bölümünde günümüz için alınması gereken derslere değinilmiştir. Literatürde Hansa Birliği’ni Avrupa Birliği ile karşılaştıran başka bir çalışmaya rastlanılmamıştır. Bu anlamda literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract

The Hansa Union, is the first organized trade union in the world. Established towards the end of the 12th century, started to be called at the first half of the 13th century documents and gradually growing until the middle of the 16th century, as a major commercial and economic power, and thus became one of the decisive actor in Europe and consequently in world trade. Germany which was in the position of the center of European trade assumed by that time as “worldtrade”, after 900 years, still is to maintain the similar position in the 21th century. Uncontrolled expansion process which brings the end of Hansa was in 150 years from establishment, while in European Union example of modern ages, raising from 6 member to 28 member is around 50 years. Strengthening of China and the Far East countries, also shifts the trade roads to east again. The Greek crisis and Brexit Decision are shaking the foundations of the European Union critically. The aim of this study is to understand the organisation in the history, which their effects are still going on and draw out lessons necessary for today. Scanning method was used in this study. The fourth part describes the development of the Hansa Union, and the fifth part describes Hansa Day. The sixth part describes the dissolution of the Hansa Union. In the seventh part, information was given about the German cities of Hansa. In the eighth part, the contribution of the Hansa Union to globalization is explained, in the ninth part, the recent similarities with the end of the Hansa Union in the light of the recent developments in the European Union are examined. In the conclusion section, the courses to be taken for today are mentioned. In the literature, no other study comparing the Hansa Union with the European Union has been found. In this sense, it is thought to contribute to the literature.
