In fact, rhetoric which is called with its common adjective and intertextuality which is a contemporary theory expresses the same thing with different words. In this paper, elements which are called arts mostly related with the usage of common material in rhetoric and its connections were analyzed, and relationships and irrelation if exists were evaluated. Again by evaluating rhetoric from holistic point of view, its other points overlapping with intertextuality were handled basically.
