Abstract

The study’s universal of this research in which the question of “What are the viewpoints of the teachers about the effects of mass media on classroom behaviors of the students who are from first grade to fifth grade in primary school?” has been taken as the case is formed by the teachers who work in primary schools which are located in Çanakkale, central and Bayramiç. The sample of this descriptive study is choose 166 classroom teacher for random in population. In this point, a scale is created by the researchers, has been applied. At the end of the research the viewpoints of the primary school teachers about the effects of the mass media on the students’ classroom behaviours have been stated as midlevel. There hasn’t been a meaningful difference among the viewpoints of the primary school teachers about the effects of the mass media on the students’ classroom behaviours considering the gender. There hasn’t been a meaningful difference among the viewpoints of the primary school teachers about the effects of the mass media on the students’ classroom behaviours considering seniority of theacher. There has been a meaningful difference between the total points of the classroom teachers who work in the city center and the total points of the classroom teachers who work in the district. There has been a meaningful difference between the total points of the teachers whose students have resided in the city center and whose students have resided in the district.
