Abstract

In this study, the state of the canditates joining to the special skill exam, in the music department of Faculty of Fine Arts has been evaluated according to the types of question. For this purpose, the results of special skills exam of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Musicology , Music Technology, Theory of Music and Composition departments of 2005-2006 school year in İnönü University has been observed. Firstly, the results obtained by the candidates taking the exam of each department have been examined in themselves. Then, in the second stage, a common evaluation compared of the results belonging to the four departments has been done. Graphics showing in which style of question candidates will be how successful have been excavated with the investigations in the first stage. In the second stage, an opportunity to make an overall evaluation on the results of four departments with the graphics belonging to common evaluations has become available. Opinions and suggestions have been made according to the results of both studies on the questions asked to canditates in the exam, the implementation method of the exam and the state of success of the canditates. In line with the findings of the study, said that the candidates' perceptions after a period of particular groups or a decrease in question have been observed. This perception may negatively impact the disintegration of the answers given to questions of the candidates examination was concluded. This results in the shape of scoring another exam questions posed to the candidates ability tests measure what kind of situation would be the effects of the submissions that have been made. In particular the questions asked during the test used to measure the repetition of rhythm and melody, the system also contains information about how it affects the results obtained by the applicant.
