Abstract

Content of life science according to the understanding public education children close to both themselves and their environment was created to recognize. According to 2005 life science programme students to get to know both themselves and their near environment their attempts are.supported in guidance of teachers. 2005 programme said that transfer of content especially be used in concrete activities. Introduction to life science is taught in the first three years of primary education and it is seen as a core course. This course helping person for understanding and making sense of life is important to transfer of information and skills and also values. The aim of this study is to expose range of values introducing as personal characteristic in introduction to life science program according to theme. In addition, other aim is to suggest proposal about the condition and practicable of values in attainment. For this purpose, values are detected provided that gains in themes of introduction tolife science program are examined one by one. Students are tried to gain 15 values identified as personal characteristic in introduction to life science lecture. These values are set as auxiliary to understand and make sense of life. In program, the range of value of each according to theme is not equal. Some values are taken part in more than but some are not. Sometimes, even if some values are appropriate to gain, these values are not taken part in gains.
