There have taken place sections including science and technology in the thirty-eight issued journal. The study population included the texts in whole issues of Ileri Yavruturk journal published between 1976 and 1977; and the study sample included the texts about technology in twenty nine issues of the journal that have been chosen with purposeful sampling model. This study has been a descriptive research in research screening model and there has been used document analysis method so as to collect data. In screening model, in order to pass a general judgment upon the population, there has been performed screening upon the sample that will be chosen from the population. There has been known that document analysis method helps to reach suitable sources in accordance with the purpose, make necessary analysis and determine the information that will be benefited (Cepni, 2007). The research has been important in terms of determining suitability of children journals’ dealing with developments in technology with pictures and texts. At the end of the study, there have been revealed that what was included in the journal were the equipment that will facilitate life of people, people’s being in search in order to facilitate both their lives and daily needs, concentration in technologic developments and human’s ruling over the natural conditions through developed modern instruments. Moreover, pictures on technology taking place in journals have been found as highly important in terms of developing dream, imagination and power of thinking of children.
