The aim of this research is to determine the levels of candidate teacher’s understanding of nature of the science. The research was done with 27 volunteer candidates teachers from the universities of West Black Sea Union of Turkey. It was ensured the candidate teachers to do research regarding the topics in the scope of "The Nature of the Science and Science History" lecture and to share the research results in classroom environment. The candidate teachers expressed that their knowledge for the research subject whivh they did and interest to this subject increased and they made connection between the nature of the science and daily life. VNOS-C survey was used a preliminary test and last test for the collection the datas. The descriptive analysis of the datas obtained from VNOS-C survey with eight sub-dimensions. Also, content analysis was done by coding the datas obtained from interviews. It was observed that the insufficent and wrong knowledge of the candidate teachers at the beginning of the term reached to reasonable and sufficent level at the end of the term.
