Industrialization brings economic, social and cultural changes. It also defines social identities through a new way of life. The most striking aspect of the changing social structure of the traditional term the disappearance of reality and turning into nostalgia. In the study the position and the results were described around Three main topics. The first of these titles is sociologically investigating the traces of heavy industry in republican period which is the most important pillars of the process of development. Here it is planned to nest the two presentation formats. in this context; at the beginning of republican period according to metaphors of industrial society as a city of allowing immigrants , Karabük and Zonguldak today assess as immigrate cities; that’s why nowadays it is open to discuss whether they are backward or not. . Another pillar of the study is to search the connections of socio economic extensions in the forestry of the region. The final title of the work is handicraft in the region. In this context, the reasons and economic losses in this area have been described sociologically. One of the main claims of the study in the area inhabited by its backwardness, development is to examine the dynamics of the Republican era in terms of comparative assuage.
