The work dealing with the diagnoses and the treatments of diseases is important for Turkish Language Studies in terms of both its subject matter and the vocabulary. Also it has importance for different kinds of sciences in accordance with this vocabulary. The fact that it is written in the field of medicine makes it important also in terms of showing the steps of Turkish as a scientific language. And in this respect, the animals names in the work are important too. The animals turns up in human life from catering, clothes, beliefs to the medication of diseases. Therefore, by means of researches on animal names in such works, not only the animal names will be determined but also we will be able to obtain many informations about the social, economic, cultural and medical life of those people in these works. And in this work we study, there are fifty-six animal names. These animals have a formidable place both sanitation and the applications recommenden for curing the diseases. Thus, the pointed animal names’ origins and their meanings is expressed with regard to in what purposes and how they are used. In this manuscript on medicine, it is seen that the animals are used as raw material for medication recommended for the treatments of diseases. And it is recommended that some animals should be consumed as nutrients for sanitation and support to treatments.},author={Zahide PARLAR},year={2016},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science Studies}}
