Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a solution to help economic development and decrease unemployment. States,NGOs and universities cooperate to develop new entrepreneurship models and work in this direction. In recent years women are also supported by different incentive programmes.But the number of women entrepreneurs in Turkey is low. Only 15 percent of the entrepreneurs are women. There was a big mining accident in Soma on the 13th of May in 2014 and after the accident 301 workers died and this created a great anger in the society and especially women and mothers that lost their husbands in the mining area were main interest topic in the media. KAGİDER and Türkiye Vodafone Foundation established a business model based on women in Soma, so that they are included in the local economy. They established a training and production centre to develop the skills of women in Soma.Efforts are still continuing to be able to market the products of the women and to establish the business on a sustinable system . In this article the new marketing model of the new centre is defined with new proposals after face to face interviews with the starters of the projects from KAGİDER.
