The aim with this work is to investigate the effects of Pan-Islamism policy on the public opinion in that time. Firstly, the scope of this trend which has a important role in II. Abdulhamid's internal and external policies secondly, basis and applicability and foreign obstacles against this policy are mentioned. Then, the role of İkdam Newspaper in the Turkish broadcast life and the situation, importance and censorship of the press at that time are mentioned. Also, general assessment related to efforts of ensuring the Islamic Union and the policy of the İkdam Newspaper has been made. News about Pan-Islamism made in the years between 1876-1908 in İkdam Newspaper which are basic elements of our work are translated and interpreted from the original Ottoman Turkish texts and presented to the readers. The goal of II. Abdulhamid who (known as Caliph and Emeer of Believers) tries to emrace not only the Ottoman Muslims but also all muslims of the world and his efforts towards this goal has been examined in more details with the news. Because, from Istanbul to Singapore, from Liverpool to Medina, from Yemen to Crete and to Russian, in a quite wide range, many Islamic Unity-themed activities have been made. Here, our main issue is the goal of publicizing financial need-based, spiritual help-based activities on the overall Islamic development, through İkdam newspaper to create public.
