The developing computer and internet technologies increase its effect on education as it does in other areas. Such that, they are becoming vital for the education process day by day. The internet is also widely used among lecturers who are one of the most important parts of the education process. When we examine the literature, we see that there are works on getting help from web sites in education. This study also aims to determine the view of primary school teachers, who are accepted as a specialized lecturers and one of the most important part of the education, towards the usage of web sites in education. With this purpose, on condition that it is relevant to their branch, primary school teachers are interviewed with open ended questions, provided by literature, regarding their internet usage frequency, their purpose on using internet and their view about using internet in education. The interview questions are developed by the help of specialists, well known in their field, and applied to the subjects. This research, which can be called as a literature scanning, subject group is composed of 90 primary school teachers, lecturing in Ağrı with the random sampling method. In analyzing the data gathered from this research descriptive analysis is used. While presenting data frequency and percentage values are also included in charts. In addition to that, some answers are picked from the research and used in original form. With respect to result acquired from this research, all of the research subjects are using web sites frequently in education. It is concluded that, teachers has used web sites for various purposes, like downloading sample activities or additional resource and they have some positive and negative views about these web sites. It is believed that this research will contribute to the literature in this manner.
