Abstract

Tracks of the past will not be completely erased. Changes, conversions, but not a lost. In the face of destructiveness of time, tradition finds a way and continues to live. One of these is the sacred goose figure. In Turkish epics, Dede Korkut, brides and girls are likened to accidents in beauty and nowadays they are used in the form of goose for girls. This article will focus on the form of expression used in Van Lake area, especially in Ahlat.
