Abstract

The global environmental governance system is a very productive mechanism for negotiating multilateral environmental agreements. Global environmental governance should not only create an environmental performance that will be enhanced as the actual environmental quality is preserved and desired, but at the same time it should be understood as a valid and reputable governance tool. Because the environmental governance system is being manipulated too much by negotiators' careers and institutional interests, causing significant shortages of practitioners and efforts to implement them. This situation is a major problem in terms of the impact of global environmental governance practices on sustainable development. Another issue that needs to be addressed for environmental governance practices to have the desired effect on sustainable development is the economy. Because it is a fact that economic issues are one of the most important factors in the implementation of internationally accepted environmental decisions, in other words, when countries comply with these decisions. Analyzing the efforts of environmental governance reforms at every level at the global level, it is a priority of the article to propose realistic and appropriate steps to be able to create a useful and holistic plan for a logical and tribal international environmental regime that takes into account economic issues and to undertake a meaningful reform effort. From this point on the practical steps to help this article in the international examples of the way on the basis of sustainable development to provide the global environmental governance forefront of field of international environmental agreements to implement in terms of developing countries such as Turkey tries to be defined.
