Abstract
XIX. yüzyıl son çeyreğinin önemli olaylarından biri olan 1877–1878 Osmanlı-Rus muharebesi, sadece Türk dünyasını değil, aynı zamanda Yakın Doğu, Balkanlar, Avrupa coğrafyası için de ehemmiyeti büyük olan bir savaş olmuştur. Batılı devletler, harbin başlangıcından, sonuna kadar gerçekleşen her safhayı çok dikkatli bir şekilde takip etmiş, her ne kadar tarafsız bir siyaset takip etmek taraftarı gibi görünmüş olsalar da olayları kendi devletlerinin çıkarları açısından değerlendirmeye gayret etmişlerdir

XIX.
