Abstract

Bilindiği üzere hadisler, aksine birkaç sınırlı örneği bulunsa da, Hz. Peygamber zamanında tümüyle yazıya geçirilmiş değildir. Hz. Peygamber’e ait bazı söz ve davranışların, zaman içinde oluşan algılar çerçevesinde ve toplumsal uygulamalar, örf, adet ve gelenekler doğrultusunda yeniden düzenlendiği olmuştur. Bu makalede, ayakta su içmekle ilgili hadisler özelinde, yanlış algılarla oluşturulan hadislerin, hadis koleksiyonlarında nasıl tasnif edildiği ve bunun tarih boyunca Müslümanlar üzerindeki etkisi tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca makalede, ayakta su içmekle ilgili hadislerin, hadis koleksiyonlarında işlenme biçimi incelenmiş, sonra da bunların Hz. Peygamber’e ait olup olmadıkları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hadisleri tespit sürecinde, her bir sahabeden gelen rivayetler tek tek ele alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmede; önce hadislerin rivayet şemaları çıkarılmış, sonra da bu şema dikkate alınarak ravilerin güvenilirlikleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonraki dönemlerde hadis şârihlerinin ilgili hadisleri nasıl yorumladıkları, hadis şerh kitaplarından bazı örneklerle incelenmiştir. Buna ilave olarak, onların söz konusu hadislerden çıkardıkları fıkhî hükümlere değinilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, günümüz İslam dünyasında ilgili hadislerin nasıl anlaşılıp yorumlandığı, bilimsel verilerin ilgili hadis yorumunda nasıl kullanıldığı incelenmiş ve genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Ayakta su içmekle ilgili hadisler ve hadis âlimlerinin bu hadisler hakkındaki yorumları incelendikten sonra şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: Ayakta su içmeyi yasaklayan rivayetlerin, isnadları bakımından zayıf olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hz. Peygamber’in, ayakta oturarak veya binek üstünde su içtiğine dair rivayetlerin bunlara göre daha güvenilir olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak, Hz. Peygamber’in ayakta su içmeyi yasakladığı şeklindeki algı doğru değildir. Aynı şekilde, oturarak su içmenin sünnet olduğu şeklindeki algı da doğru değildir.

Abstract

As it is known, the hadiths are not entirely written in the time of the Prophet, although there are few examples and limited examples. Some of the words and behaviors of the Prophet (PBUH) have been reorganized in the framework of the perceptions that have formed in time and in the direction of social practices, customs and traditions. In this article, the hadiths which composed by using misdetections how classificated in hadith collections on hadith related to drinking water while standing and effects of these misdetections on Muslims during the history was discussed. Also in this article, manner of the classification of the hadiths related to drinking water while standing in hadith collections was analyzed. After that, an attempt was made to determine whether the hadith of the Prophet. Interpretors of hadith how to interpret these hadiths was investigated by exemplifing from books of interpreting hadiths. In the process of determining the hadiths, the narrations from each stage were evaluated one by one. In this assessment; firstly the narration charts of the hadiths were formed and then the reliability of the narrators was tried to be determined by considering this chart. How hadith interpretors interpreted the related hadiths in the following periods, have been studied with some examples from hadith commentary books. In addition, they refer to the juridical clauses they have derived from these hadiths. These hadiths how were understood and interpreted in today’s World of Islam and the scientific datas how were used in hadith interpreting, was analyzed. After studying on the hadiths related drinking water in the standing and the comments of hadith scholars on these hadiths, the following conclusions were reached: The hadiths that prohibit to drinking water while standing are weak in terms of its isnads. It has been revealed that narrations related to the Prophet (PBUH) was drinking the water while sitting on the floor or on his mount or standing, are more reliable than these. As a result, the perception that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was prohibiting to drink water while standing is not correct. In the same way, the perception that drinking water while sitting is a sunnah is also not correct.
