Abstract

El sanatları; boş zaman değerlendirme, sosyal ve kültürel ilişkileri güçlendirme, meslek edinebilme, engelli bireyler için ise; bulundukları toplumda ortaya çıkaracakları ürünlerle söz sahibi olabilme, kendilerini ifade edebilme ve özgüven duygusunu tetikleyecek etkinlikler olarak tanımlanabilir. Buna bağlı olarak rehabilitasyon merkezlerindeki el sanatları faaliyetlerinin tarihi süreçten günümüze kadar kullanılan bir eğitim ve rehabilite yöntemi olduğu bilimsel çevrelerce de kabul görmektedir. El sanatları eğitiminin; engelli bireyin başarı duygusunu tatması, güven ve cesaretinin artması, algılama gücü ve kendini ifade edebilme duygusunu geliştirmesi gibi konularda oldukça etkili bir yöntem olduğu ifade edilmektedir. Bu özelliklerinin yanı sıra engelli bireyin psikolojik boyutunun psikomotor becerilerinin gelişimini, bireyin toplum içinde kabulünü sağlamaktadır. Sanatsal faaliyetler, bireyin okuldan ve rehabilite olmaktan zevk aldıkları bir alan olmasının yanı sıra eğitim ve öğretimin diğer aşamalarında da sıkça başvurulan alanlardan biri durumundadır. Bu faaliyetlerle, yetersizliği olan bireye gerekli bilgi ve beceriler kazandırılarak, sosyal ve fiziki çevresinde bazı değişiklikler yapıldığında yetersizliğin engel durumuna dönüşmesinin önlenebileceği de belirtilmektedir. Bu çalışmada; çeşitli engelleri olan ve Hatay/Antakya’da bulunan özel bir rehabilitasyon merkezindeki 20 rehabilitasyon öğrencisinin yapmış olduğu el sanatları çalışmalarının incelenmesi ve memnuniyetlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada amaçsal örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme tekniği kullanılmış, ayıca betimsel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan durum çalışması uygulanmıştır. Engelli bireylerin rehabilitasyon merkezinde ebru, dokuma, takı tasarımı, kasnak işi, ahşap-cam-seramik boyama gibi el sanatları çalışmaları yaptıkları tespit edilerek, çalışmalar incelenmiştir.

Abstract

Handicrafts; leisure time evaluation, strengthening of social and cultural relations, getting profession, for disabled people; they can be defined as activities that will trigger the sense of being able to speak, express themselves and feel self-reliance with the products they will reveal in their society. As a result, it is acknowledged in scientific circles that the activities of handicrafts in rehabilitation centers are a method of education and rehabilitation used as much as every day from the historical period. Your crafts education; it is stated that the disabled person is a very effective method in the subjects such as the taste of success, the increase of confidence and courage, the power of perception and the feeling of expressing oneself. In addition to these features, the psychological dimension of the individual with disabilities provides the development of psychomotor skills, the acceptance of the individual in society. Artistic activities are one of the areas where the individual enjoys school and rehabilitation, as well as the areas frequently referred to at other stages of education and training. These activities also indicate that the deficient individual can be prevented from turning into an obstacle when he or she gains the necessary knowledge and skills and makes some changes in the social and physical environment. In this study; it was aimed to determine the examination and satisfaction of the handicrafts which were made by 20 rehabilitation students in a special rehabilitation center in Hatay/Antakya with various obstacles. In the study, criterion sampling technique was used as the objective sampling method, and case study of the monotonic descriptive research methods was applied. In the rehabilitation center of handicapped people, it was determined that they were doing handicrafts such as marbling, weaving, jewelry design, pulley work, wood-glass-ceramic painting and studies were examined.
