Abstract
Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde göç kavramı ve göç çeşitleri üzerinde durulmakta, özellikle 7. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde göç kavramından bahsedilmekte, açıklamaları verilmektedir. Bu konu “İnsanlar, Yerler ve Çevreler” öğrenme alanı kapsamında öğrencilere aktarılmaktadır. Göç, günümüzde oldukça önemli bir kavram haline gelmiştir. Göç hareketleri tek boyutuyla düşünülemez, her göçün ve her göç hareketinin belirli neden ve sonuçları vardır. Bu boyutuyla ele alındığında göç hareketlerini ve göçün nedenlerini anlayabilmek daha mümkün olacaktır. Öğrencilerin de göç kavramını özümseyebilmesi ve konu hakkında fikir yürütebilmeleri için bu konunun iyi ve anlaşılır bir şekilde anlatılması gerekmektedir. Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde 7. sınıf ders kitabında göç konusuna değinilmekte, kavramlar verilmektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle göçün kavramsal çerçevesi çizilerek önemi üzerinde durulmuş, geçmişten günümüze ülkemizdeki göç hareketleri ve nüfus yapısındaki niteliksel ve niceliksel boyutların neler olduğu tanımlarla ve örneklerle açıklanmıştır. 7. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde verilmek istenen göç kavramının ve özelliklerinin neler olduğu öğrenme alanı kapsamında incelenmiş, konu başlıkları ve içerikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımına dayalı doküman incelemesinden yararlanılmıştır. Sosyal Bilgiler 7. sınıf ders kitabı incelenerek, konunun nasıl ele alındığına değinilmiştir. Buna göre, Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitabında, göç çeşitleri ve geçmişten günümüze göçün tarihi, ülkemizdeki nüfus hareketleri ve nüfus yoğunluğunun konu başlıkları halinde ayrıntılı bir şekilde verildiği, özellikle tablo, grafik ve görsellerden sıklıkla yararlanıldığı görülmüştür.

Abstract
Social Studies course focuses on the concept of migration and types of migration, especially in the 7th grade Social Studies course, the concept of migration is discussed and explained. This subject is taught within the “People, Places and circles” learning area. Migration has become a very important concept nowadays. Migration movements cannot be thought of with one dimension, every migration and every migration movement has certain causes and effects. Considering this aspect, it will be more possible to understand migration movements and the reasons for migration. In order for the students to absorb the concept of immigration and to have an idea about it, this subject should be explained in a good and understandable way. In the Social Studies course, in the 7th grade textbook, the subject of migration is mentioned and concepts are given. In this study, the importance of migration has been emphasized by drawing the conceptual framework of migration, and the qualitative and quantitative dimensions of migration movements and population structure in our country from past to present are explained with definitions and examples. In the 7th grade Social Studies course, the concept of migration and its features are examined within the scope of the learning area, and the topics and contents are emphasized. In this study, document analysis based on qualitative research approach was used. The 7th grade Social Studies textbook was examined and how the subject was handled was mentioned. Accordingly, in the Social Studies textbook, it has been observed that the types of migration and the history of migration from the past to the present, population movements and population density in our country are given in detail, especially tables, graphics and visuals are frequently used.
