Abstract
Edebiyat ve coğrafya, mekân-zaman ilişkileri bağlamında çerçevelenmeleri dolayısıyla aralarında etkileşim bulunan iki temel disiplindir. Edebiyat ve coğrafya tarihsel düzlemde mekânın anlamlandırılması konusunda ortak paydada buluşur. Edebiyat ve coğrafyanın bu buluşması ‘edebî coğrafya’ kavramsallaştırmasında karşılık bulur.
Bu araştırma Abdürrahim Karakoç’un şiirlerinde yer alan coğrafi ögelerin Coğrafya merkezli okuma yaklaşımı ile ortaya konulması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemiyle yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama aracı olarak Abdürrahim Karakoç’un şiirlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Karakoç’un şiirleri üzerinden coğrafya merkezli bir okuma ile yazarın coğrafyayı hangi temel ögeler ile konu edildiğinin incelenmesi yapılıp yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır.
Araştırmada şairin yaşanılan alanın fiziki ve beşeri coğrafya özelliklerini şiirlerine yansıttığı görülmüştür. Türk–İslam dünyasına yürekten sevdalı olan şair geleneksel ve modern tarzları birleştiren özgün bir üslupla halka seslenebilmiştir. Şiirlerdeki dağ, deniz, göl, akarsu, ova, bitki ve hayvanlar gibi fiziki coğrafya ögelerinin dışında; zaman, mekân, siyaset, gurbet, göç, ekonomi, dil, din, tarım, sanayi gibi beşeri coğrafya ögeleri de yer almıştır. Şair yaşadığı coğrafyayı sorgulayabilen, haksızlıklarla daima savaşan zengin bir iç dünyaya sahiptir. Dolayısıyla tabiat, aşk, gurbet konularının dışında millî duygulara hitap eden sosyal içerikli şiirler de yazmıştır. Bu şiirlerde yer alan coğrafi ögeleri kültür coğrafyası anlamında değerlendirmek mümkündür. Şair coğrafi anlamda kültürel değerlerin geleceğe aktarılması konusunda büyük ölçüde öncülük etmiştir.

Abstract
Literature and geography are two basic disciplines that interact with each other because they are framed in the context of space-time relations. Literature and geography meet on a common ground in making sense of space on the historical level. This meeting of literature and geography finds its correspondence in the conceptualization of “literary geography”.
This research was carried out with the aim of revealing the geographical elements in Abdürrahim Karakoç's poems with a geography-centered reading approach. The study was conducted with content analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. Abdürrahim Karakoç´s poems were used as data collection tool. With a geography-centered reading through Karakoç's poems, it was tried to be examined and interpreted with which basic elements the author was subject to geography.
In the research, it was seen that the poet reflected the physical and human geography characteristics of the area he lived in to his poems. The poet, who is deeply in love with the Turkish-Islamic world, was able to address the public with a unique style combining traditional and modern styles. Apart from the physical geography elements such as mountain, sea, lake, stream, plain, plants and animals in poems; Human geography elements such as time, place, politics, immigration, economy, language, religion, agriculture and industry were also included. The poet has a rich inner world that can question the geography he lives in and always fights injustices. Therefore, he wrote poems with social content that appeal to national feelings besides nature, love and expatriation. It is possible to evaluate the geographical elements in these poems in terms of cultural geography. The poet has largely pioneered the transfer of cultural values to the future in the geographical sense.
