STEM Training was enriched with a variety of activities in which the teacher can develop his / her skills and apply them to his / her students through the integration of simple materials, legos, robotics, coding and web tools. In the study, it was aimed to reveal the perceptions of pre-service science teachers, who had taken the STEM training, on STEM Education. For this, each pre-service teacher was asked to fill the sentences in the form written as “ STEM is like…..; because…...” The content analysis was applied in analysing the data collected in this study. As a result of the analysis of data gathered in the study, it was found out that the pre-service teachers had not used any negative metaphors in STEM education and that the metaphor they had created had the feature of describing many elements that formed the basis of STEM Education. The metaphors were especially the system, puzzle, engineering, science, technology, design, game, simple machine, fiction, intelligence… etc. This can be regarded as a demonstration that the philosophy of the education given and the bases to be sited are performed correctly.
