SINIF YÖNETİMİNDE DERS İÇİ ETKİNLİKLERE KATILMAYI REDDETME DAVRANIŞLARINA İLİŞKİN ADAY ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının bir örnek olay aracılığı ile sınıf yönetiminde istenmeyen davranışlara ilişkin görüş ve yaklaşımlarını belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntem ve teknikleri kullanılan bu çalışmada, sınıf yönetimi dersini almış olan Akdeniz Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliği bölümü 4. sınıf öğrencilerinden sınıf yönetimi ile ilgili bir olay karşısında görüş ve önerilerini sunmaları istenmiştir. Veriler dokümantasyon tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarına örnek olay verilerek sınıf yönetimi dersinde öğrendikleri teorik bilgiler ışığında bu durumları yorumlayıp açıklamaya çalışmışlar ve bu belgeler araştırmanın veri dokümanları olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, çözüm önerileri ve görüşleri bu öğrenci davranışlarının öğretmenlerce nasıl yönetilebileceği ortaya konulmuştur. Bu şekilde öğretmen adaylarının sınıf yönetimi yaklaşımı geliştirirken onların ne tür istenmeyen öğrenci davranışları ile karşı karşıya kalabilecekleri konusunda bazı işaretlere rastlanmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine views and approaches of teacher candidates about undesirable behaviors in the classroom management through a case study. In the study in which qualitative research methods and techniques were used, 4th-year students of Preschool Teaching Department at Akdeniz University's Faculty of Education who took the Classroom Management course were asked to present their views and suggestions in case of an event related to classroom management. The data were collected by using the documentation technique. Once a case was given to the teacher candidates, they attempted to interpret and elaborate upon this case in light of the theoretical knowledge that they have acquired during the classroom management course and these documents were used as data documents of the study. As a result of the study, their solution offers and views revealed how these student behaviors can be managed by teachers. In this way, some indications were found about which kind of undesirable behaviors of students the teacher candidates can encounter while developing the classroom management approach.
