Abstract
Bu araştırma, eğitim sürecinde öğretmen öğrenci iletişiminde değer temelli iletişim becerilerini ölçebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini açımlayıcı faktör analizi için 252, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi için ise 400 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Ölçek geliştirme için önerilen dört aşama takip edilmiştir. İlk aşamada ilgili literatür taranarak madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. İkinci aşamada oluşturulan formun kapsam geçerliliği için uzman görüşleri alınmıştır. Üçüncü aşamada pilot uygulama yapılmış, ölçek maddelerin soruların anlaşılırlığı test edilmiştir. Son ve dördüncü aşamada ise ölçek psikometrik açıdan değerlendirilmiştir. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda toplam varyansın %69.57’sini açıklayan tek faktörlü bir ölçek elde edilmiştir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda uyum değerleri CMIN=1069.484; DF=434; p<0.00; CMIN/DF= 3.332; RMSEA=.076; CFI= .902 olarak elde edilmiş ve bu değerler kabul edilebilir değerler olduğu görülmüştür. Ölçeğin güvenirliğini hesaplamak için yapılan analizde Cronba Alpha katsayısı .95; yarı yarıya bölünerek yapılan split half testinde .90 ve .94 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu değerler, DTİÖ’nin güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma sonucunda 27 maddeli, tek faktörlü bir yapıda olan ve değer temelli iletişim sürecini ölçmek için kullanılabilecek “Değer Temelli İletişim Ölçeği” geliştirilmiştir.

Abstract
This research aims to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that can measure value-based communication skills in teacher-student communication in the educational process. The sample of the study consisted of 252 classroom teachers for exploratory factor analysis and 400 classroom teachers for confirmatory factor analysis. The four stages recommended for scale development were followed. In the first stage, the relevant literature was reviewed and an item pool was created. In the second stage, expert opinions were taken for the content validity of the form. In the third stage, a pilot application was conducted and the comprehensibility of the scale items was tested. In the last and fourth stage, the scale was evaluated psychometrically. As a result of exploratory factor analysis, a one-factor scale explaining 69.57% of the total variance was obtained. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis, the fit values were CMIN=1069.484; DF=434; p<0.00; CMIN/DF= 3.332; RMSEA=.076; CFI= .902 and these values were found to be acceptable. In the analysis conducted to calculate the reliability of the scale, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was found to be .95; .90 and .94 in the split half test. These values show that the DBTS is reliable. As a result of the research, the "Value-Based Communication Scale", which has 27 items, a single-factor structure and can be used to measure the value-based communication process, was developed.
