Abstract
Bu araştırma, görsel sanatlar öğretmeni olarak görev yapan öğretmenlerin kişisel imajlarına ilişkin öğrenci görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, genel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel araştırmadan yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Ankara ili, Yenimahalle ilçesinde bulunan Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından proje okulu olarak belirlenen Nermin Mehmet Çekiç Anadolu Lisesi ve Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi’nde öğrenim gören basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 200 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan, 35 maddeden oluşan bir anket formu kullanılmıştır.Anket formu, görsellik, iletişim düzeyi, özgüven, tecrübe ve deneyim olmak üzere dört boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Sonuçta, araştırma kapsamında yer alan öğrencilerin görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin piercing takmasından rahatsız olmadıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin özgüveninin yüksek, eleştiriye açık olduklarını düşündükleri belirlenmiştir. Öğrenciler, görsel sanatlar öğretmenin konuşma üslubuna dikkat ettiğini, öğrencileri ile sağlıklı iletişim ve empati kurduklarını ifade etmiştir. Öğrencilere yöneltilen görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin bilgi birikimleri, sanatsal faaliyetleri ve tecrübelerine yönelik soruların çoğuna yüksek oranda olumlu cevaplar alınmıştır. Anket genelinde görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin öğrenciler nezdinde imajlarının olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the status of visual arts teachers regarding their professional images and the factors that affect their professional images. In line with this general purpose, it is aimed to determine the professional images of visual arts teachers, the factors affecting the professional image and their personal images from the students' perspective. A study on the professional images of visual arts teachers, who are perceived as representatives of art and culture in schools, has not been found in the literature. It is thought that this study will contribute to the related literature scientifically. In this direction, a 35-item questionnaire was created from the quantitative data collection tools. In this research, a professional image questionnaire consisting of four factors: visuality, communication level, self-confidence, experience and experience was applied. In the quantitative aspect of the research, the sample consists of 200 students studying at the project school Nermin Mehmet Çekiç Anatolian High School and Atatürk Anatolian High School in Ankara province, Yenimahalle district in the 2023-2024 academic year. This study will enable visual arts teachers to evaluate their images from the eyes of students. If the result of the evaluation of the visual arts teachers' image in terms of variables is negative, it will be a reference for what can be done to correct the image.
