ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR TÜKETİM DAVRANIŞ DÜZEYİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Sürdürülebilirlik, artan tüketim davranışlarının doğal çevreye zarar verilmesi sonucunda ortaya çıkan kavramlardan biridir. Sürdürülebilirlik açısından hem bugünü hem yarını kurtarmak ve korumak için öğrencilere nasıl bir eğitim verileceği konusu üzerinde uzun yıllar düşünülmesi gereken küresel bir mevzudur. Temelinde, gelecek nesillerin ihtiyaçları göz önünde bulundurularak şimdiki neslin ihtiyaçlarını karşılaması görüşü yer almaktadır. Sürdürülebilirlik için dönüştürülebilir tüketim anlayışı büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bireylerin, erken çocukluktan yükseköğretime kadar olan döneminde sürdürülebilir tüketim bilincine sahip olarak yetişmeleri gereklidir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının sürdürülebilir tüketim davranış düzeyinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaç bağlamında öğretmen adaylarının sürdürülebilir tüketim davranış düzeyi incelenmiş olup çeşitli değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılaşma olup olmadığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının sürdürülebilir tüketim davranış düzeylerinin incelendiği bu araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ilinde öğrenim gören öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Evren İstanbul ili sınırları içerisindeki bir vakıf üniversitesinin eğitim fakültesine kayıtlı olan toplam 1250 lisans öğrencisidir. Örneklem ise ilgili üniversitede öğrenim gören 297 tane öğretmen adayıdır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının sürdürülebilir tüketim davranışının orta düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının cinsiyet, yaş, bölüm, çevre eğitimi dersi alma durumu, çevreyi koruma temalı topluluklara üye olma durumu, mesleği yapmak isteme durumu, daha önce herhangi bir lisans programından mezun olma durumu ve lisansüstü eğitimi almak isteme durumuna göre sürdürülebilir tüketim davranışı arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.

Sustainability is one of the concepts that arise as a result of increasing consumption behaviors harm the natural environment. In terms of sustainability, it is a global issue that needs to be considered for many years on how to provide education to students to save and protect both today and tomorrow. It is based on the view that the needs of future generations will meet the needs of the present generation, taking into account the needs. The concept of convertible consumption is of great importance for sustainability. Individuals need to grow up with a sense of sustainable consumption, from early childhood to higher education. Accordingly, the aim of the research is to determine the pre-service teachers' sustainable consumption behavior level. In this context, the pre-service teachers' sustainable consumption behavior level was examined and it was predicted whether there was a significant difference according to various variables. In this study, where the pre-service teachers' sustainable consumption behavior levels were examined, a scanning model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The universe of the research is teacher candidates studying in Istanbul in 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the research was determined by using simple random sampling method. Evren is a total of 1250 undergraduate students enrolled in the education faculty of a foundation university within the borders of Istanbul. The sample is 297 prospective teachers studying at the relevant university. As a result of the research, it was determined that the pre-service teachers' sustainable consumption behavior is at a medium level. A significant relation was found between the pre-service teachers' gender, age, department, environmental education lesson status, membership of the communities with environmental protection themes, the desire to do the profession, the degree of graduation from any undergraduate program and the desire to pursue graduate education.
