Abstract
Kültür; ortak değerlere sahip, topluluk hâlinde yaşayan bir grup insanı en özelde niteleyen bir kavram olarak tanımlanabilir. Kültür, bünyesine toplumun yaşam standartlarının tümünü alabilmekle birlikte yine o toplumun ortak yaratılarını yansıtabilen bir olgudur. Söz konusu yaratılardan biri edebî ürünlerdir ve halk hikâyeleri bu ürünlerin kültürü en iyi yansıtan parçalarından biridir. Geçmişten günümüze Türk kültür zincirinin anlatmaya bağlı halkası olan Türk Halk Hikâyeleri, Türk edebiyatı için şüphesiz kıymetli bir hazinedir. Türk kültüründe hikâyeler; bulundukları döneme ışık tutan, zamana meydan okuyan önemli folklorik malzemelerdendir. İcracıların genetik kültürel kodlarını çözümlemek, toplumun geleneğini ve edebî yönden hayata bakış açısını anlamak bakımından halk hikâyeleri ve efsaneleri önemlidir. İslamiyet öncesinden başlayıp kök salan anonim halk anlatıları İslamiyet’e geçişle beraber gerçekte yaşayıp yaşamadığına bakılmaksızın anlatıcı imzalı olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Âşıklık geleneğinde ata mirası olan Âşık tarzı Halk Hikâyeciliği eski formunu koruyamamış olsa da çağı yakalamaya çalışan ve hâlâ var olma çabasını kaybetmeyen özünde bir gelenektir. Bu makalede de gösterilen çabanın bir uzantısı olarak, yaşayan âşıklardan Âşık Yakup Temeli’nin hayatı ve sanatı ışığında icra ettiği hikâyelerden biri olan “Yusuf ile Elif” hikâyesi, içerik bağlamında birçok edebi tahlile tabi tutulmak üzere incelenmiştir. Literatür tarama ve eser inceleme yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın amacı, kadim geleneğin temsilcilerini manevi bağlamda yaşatmak ve geleneği gelecek nesillere anlatabilmek ve aktarabilmektir.

Culture; It can be defined as a concept that most specifically characterizes a group of people with common values and living in a community. Culture is a phenomenon that can reflect the common creations of that society, although it can take all the living standards of the society into its structure. One of the creations in question is literary products, and folk tales are one of the parts of these products that best reflect the culture. Turkish Folk Stories, which are the link of the Turkish cultural chain from past to present, are undoubtedly a precious treasure for Turkish literature. Stories in Turkish culture; It is one of the important folkloric materials that sheds light on the period they are in and challenges time. Folk tales and legends are important in terms of analyzing the genetic cultural codes of the performers and understanding the tradition of the society and its literary perspective on life. Anonymous folk narratives, which started before Islam and took root, appear with the signature of the narrator, regardless of whether he actually lived or not with the transition to Islam. Even though Minstrel Folk Storytelling, which is an ancestral legacy in the minstrel tradition, could not preserve its old form, it is a tradition that tries to catch up with the era and still does not lose its effort to exist. As an extension of the effort made in this article, the story of “Yusuf and Elif”, which is one of the stories performed in the light of the life and art of minstrel Yakup Temeli, one of the living minstrels, has been examined in order to be subjected to many literary analyzes in the context of content. The aim of the research, in which literature review and work analysis methods are used, is to keep the representatives of the ancient tradition alive in a spiritual context and to explain and transfer the tradition to future generations.
