In our research, it is aimed to investigate the mediating role of college students' intrinsic and extrinsic life purpose related to their hopes and psychological well-being. The study has been carried out with 511 university students including 269 (52.6%) women and 242 (47.4%) men that have studied at different faculties of a state university in Turkey. “The Domain Specific Hope Scale” developed by Sympson (1999) and adapted to Turkish by Özbay, Terzi and Aydoğan (2011); “Psychological Well-being Scale” developed by Diener and his colleagues (2009, 2010) and adapted into Turkish by Telef (2011; 2013) and “Life Purpose Scale” developed by İlhan (2009) have been used. The technique as regression-based mediator macro which has been offered by Preacher ve Hayes (2008), has been used to determine the mediating role of intrinsic and extrinsic life purpose in the relationship between hope and psychological well-being. Sobel Z and bootstrapping have been used in evaluating the indirect effects. Descriptive statistics of variables were determined before mediation tests, and correlations between variables were analyzed by Pearson’s Product-Moments Correlation analysis. When we look at correlational findings, moderate positive relationships have been found between psychological well-being and hope and intrinsic, extrinsic life purpose. Nevertheless, it has been determined that both of intrinsic and extrinsic life purpose are significant predictors of psychological well-being. According to mediating results it has been found that both of intrinsic and extrinsic life purpose have mediated the relationship between hope and psychological well-being partially. As a result, it can be said that an increase in students' hopes increases their intrinsic and extrinsic life purpose, and with this increase their psychological well-being can be strengthened.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate teaching practice course in terms of mentor teachers. The present study was conducted in accordance with sequential exploratory mixed method design. Stufflebeam’s Context, Input, Process and Product Evaluation Model (CIPP) was used as curriculum evaluation model. Firstly, the quantitative data of the study was collected from 314 mentor teachers in four cities (İzmir, Diyarbakır, Konya, and Van) in Turkey. Secondly, qualitative data was obtained by semi-structured interviewing with 18 mentor teachers training in Van. A survey and a semi-structured interview form were used as data collection tools. SPSS and nVivo packet programs were performed in the analysis of obtained data. Descriptive statistics were used to analiyze the quantitative data and descriptive technique was used to analyze qualitative data. Miles & Huberman (1994) reliability formule was used in the analysis of qualitative data, and the correspondence between the coders was determined as 89.9%. As a result of the study, it was revealed that teaching practice course is generally useful even though there are some halting points in context, input and process of the course. Depending on the results, it is suggested that the duration of teachin practice should be increase, more measurement and assessment studies should be done, and as well as ongoing studies, school-family cooperation activities, administrative studies and social-cultural activities should be done in the process of teaching practice. In addition, it is necessary to reduce the number of student teachers in the responsibility of teachers and instructors.

The aim of this study is to bring together the studies that have been done in Turkey to reveal similarities and differences between teacher training program standards and accreditation, and study to determine the contributions of these studies to the field and their quantifiable data between the years of 1999-2014.In this study, 27 studies have been examined that have been done in Turkey in the field of program standards and accreditation in teacher education by type, method, pattern and data collection tool. Also brief summaries of studies have been included to our research. The studies that have been included in the research were carried out between 1999 and 2014.15 studies were scientific articles, 4 studies were Master’s theses and 8 of them were Ph.D. dissertations. 11 of the studies used the qualitative method, 14 of the studies used the quantitative method and 2 of the studies used a combination of both. According to the studies that have been included in this research it is important to have program standards in teacher’s training. However, it is striking that there are serious shortcomings in the implementation of standards in faculties.Particularly, it is seen as a major deficiency that the teacher candidates do not have to be qualified to any standards in admission to the education faculties. It is seen that in Turkey, cooperation between universities and the schools that host teachers-in-training is very important in teacher’s education as it is in the western countries. However, there are serious problems and deficiencies in observing and following up with teacher candidates that are sent from the education faculty to the practicum school and evaluating their proficiency.Additionally, the quality standards that are met by curriculum, professors, students, facilities, libraries and equipment, and management create the foundation of the accreditation system in western countries, which are lacking in Turkey.

The work of Kashgari is a unique source for Turkology with all these aspects. In his work, Kashgari states that, “I have travelled throughout their cities and steppes, and have learned their dialects and their rhymes; those of the Turks, the Turkmen-Oghuz, the Chigil, the Yagma, and the Qirqiz”. According to the information which Kashgari stated about Turkic homelands, his work can be characterized as a book of travel.
The adventure of writing in Turkish language goes back to very old eras. Gokturk alphabet is highly appropriate for Turkish language and it has reached to saturation level. However, there was a period which could be named the fatrat of Turkish literary (weakness or numbness of Turkish literary), especially after coming of the Turks to Anatolia. Some poets and writers who wrote in Anatolia during this period expressed their apologies and embarrassment for writing in Turkish. Staying away of these people from the Turkish language and their approach which Turkish seen as a language of ordinary people are sings of existence of periodical and historical negative approaches. Ashiq Pasha who lived most of his life in the 13th century, complained about lack of interest of people to Turkish language on his work entitled Garib-nama. Also, Ali Sheer Nawai continued his life as a man with a cause and conscious until the end of his life with the efforts of writing in Turkish language in Chagatay area in 15th century. Nawai’s great manuscript which entitled Muhakamatu'l-lugatayn shows his efforts for Turkish language. He was an awareness man andsome great poets like Husain Bayqara or Molla Abdurrahman Cami tried to even insist him on the matter of writing poets with Persian language. This shows how the environment and intellectual factors were dominant on the poets. Turks have continued their lives with small or large groups in a wide geographical area began from India to Egypt; from Central Asia to the west of Anatolia and even up to the Balkans in this period. What are the reasons behind unpopularity and exclusion of Turkish language? Why poets and writers had such these perceptions? What such these thoughts signs for? All these questions will be answered in this study. Intertextual reading method was used in this study. The Turkish classics and manuscript texts of the period from 13th century until the 16th century in Anatolia were examined. Stated questions were answered from these detected relevant examples. Therefore, there has been seen such reasons like seasonal political events, the actual power of Arabic and Persian literature in the literacy places and science, the forms of the life of the Turks etc. These reasons were effective on the formation of these thoughts. This negative image in some period has affected the poets and writers to write in Turkish even if they are enthusiastic.

İdioms are pattern expresssions in the vocabulary of a language such as proverbs, reduplications, relation words. At leastt two words are searched for in the formation of the idioms. It is possible that the words that make up the idiom are formed in the form of very different elements of linguistic information. Like names and adjectives. At least one of the words that bring the idiom took a fiixed form by gaining connotation due to being used out of real means. Thus a new semantic structure emerges. They became aesthetical by using again and again by different layers of society before the written date of a nation. The common language understanding of the society comes here again. Many cultural elements, beliefs, traditions are possible to find in the idioms. The idioms that are considened by the researchers as the advanced subjects of a language are artistic expressions. İt is possible to find both the stops of Turkish folk poetry and the aesthetic rhythmical voice repetitions. In some idioms, the meaning is forgotten, and archaic words are also encountered.
Beginning primary school, which is the first serious step in educational life, is one of the significant turning points in children's life. There are some pre-school practices for the child to start a new life with joy and energy and to achieve a steady success in this life. One of these is “Bad-i Basmala” or “Amen Parade” tradition. This ceremony, which has been practiced since the time of the Ottoman Empire, was carried out for children aged four to five years at that time. Children who are at the age of starting school were introduced to the education life with ceremony and prayer in the presence of a crowded group. Nowadays, this ceremony is practiced at least one week before schools are opened, when children reach the age of official education. Children who are dressed in clean and ornamented clothes and riding a phaeton with prayers in the old period are now dressed in school uniforms and taken out of their homes again with prayers. Saints entombed in the city are visited with vehicle convoys formed by the family members and they pray for them. The purpose of this practice, which has deep roots in culture, is to make it fun to start the school, to help the children to start their education life with joy, to overcome school fear and to feel the value of education. To bring family elders, relatives and friends together for the children who will start school, to present gifts to them and to provide spiritual support for their success in education are also among the purposes of this practice. These ceremonies, which were practiced in the past and are tried to be performed today, are extremely important in that the society shows the importance of studying and education.

Education continues throughout life. However, the training in formal learning is more efficient and of high quality; It contains endless research. Generally, research is conducted on the basis of statistical data. The individual is educated in his / her life, but may encounter some communication problems in school format. In this respect new and living solutions are necessary. The feasibility of these solutions is the solution; puts the bond with life. The non-living solution does not work. Art is one of the most appropriate learning solutions, especially since it imitates life in a way. How and how to use the artistic in the education and learning process depends on the individual characteristics and the purpose of education. In the light of this data, we are investigating how to use art in the cultural structure but it is insufficient. It is necessary to study how art education should be used for each individual as a learning tool of art. They need to study the individual needs of the data obtained from this care, not the mass. Applicability is problematic given the population dynamics of such studies. But maybe it is applicable in special education, or in special classes that are compulsory. The healing aspect of art is a tested reality. It is especially easy for individuals with bodily competence to perform. However, in the case of physically handicapped individuals, physical therapies in practice can produce solutions as well as they can be offered as an alternative in their recovery. The introduction of physical therapies into the inner world of the individual can also be facilitated by the artistic

Gender theories point a structure where heteronormative order and/or the concepts that stay out of it are associated with each other or positioned through each other, with its content that embraces all gender-themed ideas, concepts, and cultural elements. Following the 19th century, some theoretical and conceptual approaches (gender, feminism, queer) have been developed in the academic field in order to criticize behavioral patterns imposed upon gender identities according to cultural or social data and to express rights or inequities observed based on gender within social life. With feminism, in the 1960s women's advocacy was predominant, and in the 1980s the equality of men's and women's rights gained importance, and in the 1990s the search for rights was also included in the work. The common problem can be defined as the acceptance of the existence of 'otherized' individuals within society and the struggle to reach equal conditions.
Knowing the author’s style contributes greatly to the understanding of the these studies. For this reason some authors refer briefly to the style they follow in their forewords. In some studies, it is enough to give the necessity to write his study, not to mention the point about style. Zemahshari (d. 538/1144) did not mention some of the styles he followed in his book Kashaf. One of these is the tamrez (???????) forms used in the study. These patterns, which are sometimes used in the transmission of the news, show the weakness of the narrations according to the hadith method. Because the common feature of these patterns is that it is not known to whom the news belongs. However, knowing the owner of the verse is an important influence in the evaluation of the quality of the verb. For this reason, in Islamic sciences, these patterns have been used to convey unacceptable or undesirable translations and interpretations. Since the authors can not pass on these without mentioning them, they convey these views with their comments on the weakness. However, we believe that Zemahshari does not use these forms exactly in this sense. In this article examines the purposes of Zemahshari’s use of tamrez forms in his book and how they can be distinguished from each other.

Proverbs are words that give a certain judgment , advice and left us from our ancestors and anonymous. Proverbs and idioms are important items between language and culture. Every society has unique proverbs and idioms. They give clues about the lifestyle, language, culture, morality and customs of the society. Anatolian geography has become a place where dozens of languages have been spoken and lived since the beginning of history. The unknown thing is that these lands have become a hiding place for many archaic languages and dialects. Undoubtedly, a significant part of this cultural heritage constitutes Arabic dialects spoken in Anatolia. The researches about the Anadolu Arabic with his different dialects and accents, have started recently. It is obvious that there are many similar and diffrent matters between the Mhallemi dialect which is spoken in Midyat and its surroundings and the Arabic dialect spoken in Siirt and its surroundings and also thought as a highly rooted dialects of Arabic. The proverbs and idioms, remained until today, of the Siirt Arabs and Mhallemies who live in two different parts in close proximity to each other of the Al-Jazeera region, give important clues to understand the degree of closeness between the two dialects of Anatolian Arabic. In this academic notice, we will compare the proverbs and idioms that are still used vividly in Midyat and its surroundings with the proverbs and phrases used in and around Siirt, and try to reveal their similar and different characteristics.

The hadith method, practiced since the exilic first century and recorded since the late second century, assesses and limits the rules and methods related to the documents and texts in hadiths, the qualifications of the deferent and the hadith concepts. One of the important concepts that is evaluated and limited in the hadith methodology is the concept of the münker hadith. In the dictionary, the notion of "münker" is described as "ugly, evil, unreasonable, denied, or every act that the authentic mind considers bad", and defined in several ways related to the hadith. Also, like the Qur'an and the hadith, it has been used several times in the basic Islamic sources, obtaining a religious meaning close to its lexical meaning. Münker hadith that has direct or indirect associations with other hadith types such as the known (ma’ruf) hadith, şaz hadith, muallel hadith and garip hadith has been used since the late second century. The meaning of the term munker hadith had a tendency of expansion and sometimes narrowing in time and it is the most defined type of hadith. The oldest known definition was found in Yahya b. Said al-Kattan (dated 198/813) and was finalized by Ibn Hajjar (d. 852/1449) as "the münker hadith is the hadith that was related by the weak deferent as opposed to the just deferent." During the seven centuries between the exilic second and ninth centuries, münker hadith was used in at least seven meanings as far as we could establish.

Political campaigns are a series of events organized to reach elections and win their support. Moreover, within the complexity of political space, political campaigns support the political communication process as a result of the efforts of recruited parties and political candidates to support the election. In the process of political communication, it is necessary to identify and observe the political actors, in other word political determinants, that give symbolic credibility to political events. Being observers of political campaigns, the determinants involved in the political communication process are obliged to provide voters with information about the ideology, program, goals and principles of the political formation they are in. In this direction, voters are more informed when performing voting behavior. In addition to benefiting from the political marketing of voters to satisfy their wishes, needs and expectations, there are also benefits in terms of knowing what factors constitute voters' political preferences. One of them is to develop marketing staff. The other one is that it shows how voters can be directed (İslamoğlu, 2002: 81). In this direction, by determining the factors underlying the preferences of the voters. voters are trying to develop positive attitudes towards a particular party. For this reason, political marketing requires the formation of voter behavior and the actors that influence it. These actors can be considered as political parties, political power, public opinion, political market, pressure groups, voters, ideology, political participation, lobbying that take place directly in the political process. These political determinants pioneered the execution of political campaigns that took place during the political marketing process.

It is very important that businesses should not be ignored to keep abreast of evolving technology when the contemporary world of communication evolves incredibly and considering the possibilities of using innovations in communication in marketing activities. However, whilst businesses incorporate innovations to their mix of marketing, the identification of the characteristics of the mass that they can reach with these communication elements should be considered as another important field of activity. The age factor, which is considered as the most basic criterion for defining the target group, gives the opportunity to provide more clear information to the businesses when considered as the same living group.
THE MEANING, POSITION AND LIMIT PROBLEM OF INTUITION IN AL-GHAZALI

In this article, one of the problems of epistemology, the meaning of intuiton as a source of knowledge, examined especially in al-Ghazali’s philosophy. Intuition is a concept that has found its place in many philosopher’s philosophy from the west to the east in the history of philosophy. Therefore it is possible to find this concept in many names, from Islamic philosophers to 20th. century philosophers. Despite its prevalence, however, it is not clear what is meant by the concept of intuition. One of the examples of this situation is al-Ghazali. al-Ghazali, considered one of the most important representatives of intuitionism in Islamic philosophy, is easily compared with western philosophers by researchers because of the blurring of the concept of intuition. The meaning of the concept of intuition that we compare with the concept of hads is that knowledge is grasped directly. Along with that there are rational, experimental, mystical and aesthetic types of intuition. We have studies the types of intuition in Avicenna and Descartes in order to illustrate these types of intuitions and thus to correctly determine the difference of al-Ghazali’s intuitionism. After studied the relation between intuition and knowledge in Avicenna and Descartes, we discussed al-Ghazali’s critics to mind. The source of the intuitionism that al-Ghazali’s gets from his criticss of mind, is God and al-Ghzali says that certain knowledge comes with the help of God. The intuition that come across in different positions in al-Ghazali is limited even though it is above the knowledge of senses and knowledge of reason. Therefore the intuition in al-Ghazali’s philosophy constitutes a whole together with its source, position and limit. Without considering this whole structure, it is very problematic to compare the intuition of al-Ghazali with the other philosopher’s intuitionism. In the article, which I discussed how such comparisons are true, I examined the meaning, kinds and importance of intuition in al-Ghazali and tried to identify the privileged aspects of al-Ghazali’s intuitionism.

The religion concept, which is being discussed since years, exists since the beginning of the communities and reflects usually on people’s attitudes at social enviroment. Especially employees’ ethical values, religious perspectives, manners can be easily understood in the workplace. Although social pressure causes people to be patient against negative consequences as a value at the Turkish Culture, the employee voice which consists of criticising organisation in a proactively way or being participant for organisational businesses can be affected by employees’ religious attitudes. Focusing on employee behaviour which is a main reason for all the organisation to work healthy, employee voice helps managers to measure the degree of some variables like organizational sense of belonging, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behaviour and role behaviour of employees. The religious attitudes has four dimensions like emotional behavioural, relational and cognitive attitudes. It is impossible for an employee not to have stress when there is a conflict between his/her religious attitudes and judgements about the work or workplace. On that condition the responsibility of managers is to determine which dimension of the religious attitudes reflects which kind of employee voice behaviour and to protect conflicts all around the organisation. Accordingly, with this research the relationship between employees’ religious attitudes and employee voice is researched and the results are interpreted at the findings section to make suggestions for the managers.

Born in the town of Qaradagh near Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, Mawlânâ Khâlid-i Baghdâdî (d. 1242/1827) is the founder of 'Khalidiyya' branch of Naqshbandi order. He has gone to Delhi in India and served for Abdullah Dehlavi (d. 1240/1824), a follower of Mujaddidi branch and within only a year, he has received initiation from Naqshbandiyye, Qaderi, Sohrawardi, Kobrawi and Chishti orders and he returned. The purpose of this article is to determine the effect of Khalidism particularly in Bingöl, Hakkâri and surrounding areas. Seyyid Tâhâ, for example, who lived around Hakkâri is deemed to be one of the most important sources attributed by the Naqshbandiyye order to Khâlid-i Baghdâdî (d. 1942). In this sense, there are four important golden chains (silsila) that reached Seyyid Tâhâ-yı Hakkâri. The first one is Esad Erbili that reached Khâlid-i Baghdâdî through Tâhâ el-Harîri and Seyyid Tâhâ (d. 1931). He is one of the important Khalidi sheiks active in Istanbul. Mahmut Sami Ramazanoglu (d. 1984), Muhammet Muhyiddin Efendi of Bolu (d. 1976) Mustafa Hulusi Dinc of Yahyalı are caliphs of this person. The second one is Muhammet Lutfi of Alvar (d. 1956), who is the caliph of Muhammed Kufrevî from Bitlis. Küfrevî reached Khâlid-i Baghdâdî through Seyyid Tâhâ. The third one is Abdulhakim Arvasî chain and through Seyyid Fehim and Seyyid Tâhâ-yı Hakkâri it reached Khâlid-i Baghdâdî. The fourth one is Haznevî chain and it reached Khâlid-i Baghdâdî through Ahmet Haznevî (d. 1949) Ziyaeddîn Fethullah Velknisî, Abdurrahman et-Taği, Sıbğatullah Arvasî and Seyyid Tâhâ. During the era of the son of his caliph Abdulhakim Huseynî, Muhammed Rasheed Erol (d. 1993) this chain has became nationwide in Turkey. In addition, we see that the communication and spiritual connections between Seyyid Tâhâ-ı Hakkâri and his master Mawlânâ Khâlid-i Baghdâdî is very strong. Seyyid Tâhâ never has severed his spiritual ties with his master; while Khâlid-i Baghdâdî always has directed him through warnings, guidance and letters.

Over the decades there has been ongoing discussion about semantic transfor-mation of popular culture whether it means to the choices of majorities or the directed particular preferences to influence masses. Either way, books are largely regarded as an anti-popular cultural argument. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate from the readers’ point of view whether reading has a relation with culture or popular cul-ture. To point out extent of popular culture influence area, it is crucial to reconsider the book readers’ perspective on bestseller books. The secondary purpose is to draw atten-tion and contribute to the area as the rarity of academic studies grounded from this context. In this sense, in theoretical part of the study, popular culture’s, mass culture’s and the books’ relations with them are detailed with literature survey. And the last part is consisted of in-depth interview analyses with twelve bestseller books readers from Turkey, who prefer to read them beside other types of books, in order to reveal the factors affecting book preferences; reasons of reading bestseller books, and the meaning they attribute to the bestseller books. The most interesting result of the research is seven out of twelve attendees think that frequent appearance on traditional and new communication technologies through advertisements and Public Relations (PR) works make a book bestseller. Thanks to those promotional activities, they believe not all bestseller books deserve major/global attention but meantime they all check bestseller book lists and justify reading those books due to several reasons. So it can be said the attendees are conscious of the ways making a book popular but still cannot resist to common interest in society.

SOCIAL BENEFITS IN STRUGGLE AGAINST POVERTY: SAMPLE OF GUMUSHANE

The problem of poverty became more visible, especially after the 1990s, and became debatable in the "academic" summer. The debates on poverty and impoverishment are also related to the transformation of the state's economic policies. Along with the transition from social welfare state practices to "neoliberal" economic policies, "social policy" has also changed. Globalization and neoliberal policies have led to a gradual shrinking of social politics and a change of meaning. On the other hand, with the "social aid programs", the struggle against poverty has been tried to be continued. However, this "new process" brought with it debates such as impoverishing the poor and increasing social assistance addiction and charity culture. It is also argued that social policy will be reduced to social benefits through the discussions that are discussed in this study. After poverty, social policy and social assistance applications are theoretically addressed, social assistance and its types will be handled through the SYDV (Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation) example operating in Gümüşhane Province within this theoretical-conceptual framework.
