Abstract

Çalışmaya farklı fakültelerde eğitimine devam eden 305’i kadın ve 278’i erkek toplam 583 üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır.

In order to determine the academic procrastination level of the undergraduates an Tuckman’s Academic Procrastination Scale is used. The 16-item scale is adapted into Turkish by Uzun Özer, Sackes and Tukman. During the data analysis process t-test, one-way-ANOVA and Pearson Correlation test is used. The results of the study reveals that the academic procrastination level of undegraduates does not differ significantly in terms of gender however there are significant differences between academic procrastion level of students according to grades and faculties. As an another finding of this study, there is a weak negative correlation between academic procrastination level and academic achievement (GPA) of the students.<
