Abstract

The number of the pupils who want to learn Turkish as a foreign language has increased recently. It’s discussed that whether this increasing demand could be responded as it should be. In this paper, the “teacher” component in Turkish teaching as a foreign language, which qualifications these teachers should have, what the lacks and common mistakes are and how these problems could be solved will be discussed.The number of the pupils who want to learn Turkish as a foreign language has increased recently.
