In the item pool, firstly, 38 scale items were determined by the researcher and 5 scale likert type scale was chosen. Nine items that are too similar to each other or thought to be unsuccessful in measuring implicit variables have been removed from the item pool to obtain content validity. After factor analysis, 9 items with factor loadings below 0.5 were removed from the scale."Musical Self-Efficacy Belief Scale", consisting of 20 items, has been developed that is subject to validity and reliability analyzes within the scope of the study. Scope validity, criterion validity and construction validity studies were performed to test the validity of the scale. Internal consistency and item analyzes were used to test the reliability of the scale. As a result of this study, it was found that developed scale is valid and reliable.
