Study was designed as a descriptive study and survey model was used. In the study, no sampling method was performed as it was aimed to cover the study universe in total. But due to the limitations about the accessibility of some studies and the lack of the entire text on thedatabaselines, 30 studies were included in the study. As a result of this study which used document analysis technique, the earliest study was found to be made in 2001 and thelatest one in 2013. According to the findings of thestudy, in a total of 3137 sexual abuse cases, 78.71% (n=2469) of all victims are found to be female swhereas 21.29% (n=668) of the cases were found to be males. The average age of the children who were exposed tos exual abuse was 11.69 in girls and 9.13 in boys. As a result, it is arguedt hat it is important to conduct more scientific and academic studies as with the subject, to record cases in countrywide and widespread the prevention programs.},author={Utku BEYAZIT-- Aynur BÜTÜN AYHAN},year={2015},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science Studies}}
